In this Training we will understand about button and form element.
Button plays a very important role in marketing campaigns, as this is the element which allows the viewers to take an action.
You can add a button by just dragging it on your page.
You can edit the Button as per your need.
You use this button to delete the button, use duplicate to make a copy of this button.
You can also apply a layer, notification and put a link. These options are already explained in the previous training guide of this series.
If you want to change the text, you can change it. This is super easy.
If you want to make it bigger use these dots for this, you can change the length and width of this button too as I am doing it.
Now, the main feature of a button is to put a link on it, you can put an external link or a DotcomPal page link to this button to connect them or to redirect your visitors to a different page or website.
For this, first, we need to select the links type, we have options here such as External URL, DotcomPal page, link to section, and file download.
If you choose External URL, then you can put any link of your own website or page, if you want to redirect the traffic to your own website.
You can select whether you want to open this link in the new tab or current window.
If you choose the DotcomPal page, then it will allow you to choose your created page in your DotcomPal Pages app where you want to redirect the users if they will click on the text.
Remember my friend, the page will be from the same project of your DotcomPal account, in which you are creating the current page.
Suppose, if you are creating a long sale page that has many sections, then you can use this Link to section option, to take them on the desired section on the current page.
If someone will click on the text, they will be sent to the selected section on the current page.
My fellow marketers, I believe you all are curious to know more about DotcomPal Editor after these cool and amazing features.
Now, another cool feature in the link is file download, if you don’t want to put any link and want to put a file for your users to download, you can do that too.
Just choose this option from the list, then click on choose from MyDrive button, it will take you to select a file that you have already uploaded, or you can also upload a new file to make it available for download.
I am selecting this image for now and saving and closing this.
My friends, you see how free you are to put an external link or any inside link from DotcomPal page to your current page.
Now, click on this edit button, to change more options for this button.
You can use this button to change the text Font. You can change Font Size and text spacing too.
Bottom options allow you to make the text bold, italic, underline and strikethrough text.
As I have explained in the previous Training, you can change the Button color, Text color, Hover color, Border color. You can place the 3D effects as well.
By using this Style option, you can customize your button like you can change the button design, Drop-shadow, Border, 3D effect and corner of your button.
Use the emoji option to put emojis with your button text.
When you done with these options, click on done.
So, this is how you can use the button element here my dear friends.
I hope you are understanding these elements one by one.
Now, let me explain you about the sixth element that is Form.
By using this element, you can add form on your template to capture your visitor information like their email address, name, phone number, etc. and you can also customize your form just like I am doing it right now,
In order to customize your form, you need to click on the edit button.
If you want to place the email tab and form button tab on a particular distance, you can drag and drop them as I am doing it here.
It is very easy friends.
As you can see here, you have options like Button Style, pop-ups and bars, link, Form Style, Integration, and consent which you can edit as per your need and can give personal touch to make them more attractive.
In Button style, you can edit the Text of your button like you can edit the Text color, Text Size or Spacing.
By using the Style option, you can edit your button design type (like Flat, Line, Gradient), Drop-shadow angle, border width, 3-d effect, and Corner like square or Rounded.
Using the color option, you can change the button color, text color, hover color, border color, and 3D- color.
You can also choose the emoji here.
Now the best feature of this part is, you can add another pop-up on your form, where you can promote or can advertise your other service or product.
In order to add pop-up on your form you need to click on this Notification icon and then click on Create new pop-up, right after clicking on create new pop-up, you will be redirected to the editor page, here you can edit your pop-up as per your need like you can edit the pop-up Style, Back-ground color, Border color, even if you want you can change the background image also.
Apart from this, you can edit this pop-up just like your other pop-up template as we have provided all the editor elements which you can use to customize your notification or pop-up in this editor.
By using the Form style, you can edit the Text of your Form like you can edit the Text color, Text Size or Spacing. By using the Style option, you can edit your Form design like border width, Corner like square or rounded, Drop-shadow angle or Inner Shadow effect.
My friend, the next option in Form customization is Integration, which is very essential feature of Form or you can say, the form is incomplete without this feature.
Because we use form to share information or to collect leads and a form is useless if you cannot save the leads coming through it.
So, by using this amazing integration feature you can directly captivate your leads into your desired autoresponder, Webinar or CRM software.
After clicking on the Integration, you will be taken to the Save leads page where you can see options like Accounts fields, Autoresponder, Webinar and CRM.
Let’s talk about the Accounts fields first.
Here you can select more fields to show on your form, you can see we have created many important fields here.
Just need to select the one you want to add on form and click on this save button. You can create any custom filed by going to business settings and then contact management settings, we have created separated training for that.
Now, Let’s talk about the Autoresponder.
Here you can see all the autoresponder, which you have integrated in your DotcomPal account.
Now, in order to save your leads in your desired Autoresponder, you do not need to do too much work, you just need to click on the Autoresponder and here you just need to choose the list, in which you want to save the leads. Apart from this I would like to drive your attention on the second option which is Choose field.
Now you will feel the magic of this Integration feature, from here you can directly add custom fields on your Form which you have created under your autoresponder, to add them on your form, you just need to give a check mark on the fields you want to add on your form and click on save that’s it.
Don’t you think, it’s an amazing feature? Yes, it is.
In the same manner you can save your leads and can add custom fields on your form by using two other options Webinar and CRM.
One thing that I want to specify is that If you don’t have any third-party autoresponder integrated with your DotcomPal account and you fear of losing your leads from this form then you don’t need to worry about it. DotcomPal values your hard earning leads and all the acquired leads will be automatically added into your Accounts in DotcomPal platform.
Now let’s go back.
The last option here is consent.
Once done with all these settings click on done. And that’s it, this is how you can edit your form.
