Steps For How to Link CTA Buttons for Your Pages
Step 1: Click on the Call to Action Button
Open the DotcomPal editor and click on the call to action (CTA) button you want to link.
Step 2: Select the Link Icon
In the function bar, click on the link icon.
Step 3: Choose External URL
In the dialog box, select "External URL" from the first drop-down menu.
Step 4: Paste the URL
Paste the URL of the external page you want to link to in the provided box.
Step 5: Set Link Behavior
Choose whether the link opens in a new tab or in the current window, depending on your preference.
Step 6: Save the Settings
Click the "Save" button to save the changes.
Step 7: Link to a DotcomPal Page
To link to an existing landing page, choose "DotcomPal Page" from the drop-down menu.
Step 8: Select the Landing Page
In the dialog box, select the page from the list of previously created pages.
Step 9: Save the Settings
Click the "Save" button to save the changes.
Step 10: Link to a Section on Your Page
To link to a specific section on your page, select "Link to Section" from the drop-down menu.
Step 11: Choose the Section
In the dialog box, select the section of the page you want the CTA button to link to. Remember that headers and footers are considered sections.
Step 12: Save the Settings
Click the "Save" button to save the changes.
Step 13: Enable File Download
To allow users to download a document, select "File Download" from the drop-down menu.
Step 14: Choose the File
Click "Choose from My Drive" to select or upload the file you want to offer for download.
Step 15: Save the Settings
Click the "Save" button to save the changes.
Step 16: Publish the Page
Once the file is selected, proceed to publish your web page.
