Using the Image Element in DotcomPal Editor
1. Image
The Image element allows you to import images into your page easily. Here's how to use it:
- Add an Image:
- Click on the Image.
- A new window will open where you can search for an image by typing a prompt. In the result you will be suggested the relevant image.
- To upload an image from your storage or a connected drive, click on "Upload File," select the image, and click "Upload."
- Drag and drop the image onto your page to place it.
- Click on the Image.
- Function bar:
- Delete: Click to remove the image.
- Duplicate: Click to create a copy of the image.
- Layer: Change the layer to bring the image forward or send it behind other elements.
- Crop: Adjust the image size as needed.
- Rotate: Rotate the image.
- Link: Link the image to an external URL or another section of your page. Options include External Link, DotcomPal Page, Section, and File download.
- Style:
- Corners: Round the corners by selecting "Rounded" and adjusting the radius. Choose "Circular" for a circular frame or "Square" for the original frame.
- Change Image: Replace the current image while maintaining the shape and size.
2. Logo
A logo is a graphic symbol used to identify and promote your brand, providing public recognition. Here's how to use the Logo tool:
- Add a Logo:
- Click on the Logo.
- Insert your defined logo onto your page, ensuring consistent brand representation across all your marketing materials.
3. Icons
Icons add visual interest and enhance the overall look of your page. The editor provides over two thousand icons. Here's how to use the Icons tool:
- Add an Icon:
- Click on the Icons.
- Browse the available icons or search for a specific icon using the search bar.
- Drag and drop the icon onto your page.
- Customize Icons:
- Size: Adjust the size of the icon.
- Color: Click the edit button to change the icon color.
- Rotate: Rotate the icon to fit your design perfectly.
