I am going to show you, that how can setup your Business settings with DotcomPal.
So, when you login into the DotcomPal, you can see the Settings on the left-menu bar of your DotcomPal Dashboard.
Once you click you will see the Business Settings.
I strongly recommend you set these settings first in order to flexibly use this awesome marketing cloud.
In Dotcompal every business has its own Business Account Settings.
For example, if you have created 3 businesses in DotcomPal, then you will have different-different business settings for each of the business.
Here on left you can see few options as Business Details, Channels, Mail Settings, Integration, Contact Management and API.
Let’s start with Business Details, here you can see three tabs as Business overview, Address & time zone and Social media information.
First, in Business Overview section you can upload your logo & favicon for your business directly from the DotcomPal drive or upload from your PC.
Now, to make any changes to your Business information you can easily do that here.
First you can enter the Business name then your business website,
then you can select one of the categories under what best describe your business, then you can select how many customers you have, how many people work at your company, what is your business need, your annual turnover and description of your business which explains your business in detailed.
Once done click on Save.
Let’s come to the second tab that is Address & time zone
Here first you can enter your Address and then you can select your Country, your region/state, your city, then enter your Zip/postal code
and last you can select your time zone and then Click on Save.
Last tab is of social media, you can paste your different Social media Profiles for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
Once you fill all the details click on Save to save the details.
Now let’s make you visible by setting – Channel Settings
Here, you can see ten in left options under Channel Settings like Custom Domain, Connect your Website, Home Page, Memberships, SEO, Analytics, Webmaster, Branding, Cookie Consent and Banners. These setting are the default setting for your whole business.
First, let’s have an insight of Custom Domain.
As a business owner, you will want to set up the URL’s of DotcomPal on your own website domain. DotcomPal keeps that in the attention and fulfils all of your need.
In the first box of “Custom Doman Name”, you have to enter that domain which you want to redirect with “Dotcompal.com” subdomain. For example, the business domain you want to use is “xyz.com”. In DotcomPal, by default, your business domain will be “xyz.dotcompal.com/Page-slug”. In the box of “Custom Doman Name”, if you enter your domain name as “www.xyz.com” then the site address for your business will become as “www.xyz.com/Page-slug”.
Now, click on button “Request for C-name”.
This will provide C-name details for your entered domain which you will need to enter into the C-panel area of your entered domain.
After this, you will have to click on “Create Distribution”.
This will take about 30-45 minutes to activate and distribute your Custom Domain redirection with DotcomPal domains.
When you set your custom domain as “www.xyz.com” for “xyz.dotcompal.com” then your, all the pages, videos will be live on “www.xyz.com” domain.
Now, you have successfully redirected custom domains for your business URL with DotcomPal.
How amazing and customized tool it is? DotcomPal only fulfils all the need and solves the problems of its beloved customers by following its core value “Customer is KING”.
Then Second is Connect your Website.
Here to connect your website with DotcomPal you need to enter the URLof your website in is it your business website URL section and then click on this Yes & Generate Script button.
And you will see DotcomPal script will apprar over here in Audience Analytics SDK section.
Now you just need to enter this script in the header section of your website to connect your website with DotcomPal.
Once you connect you can click on this Test DotcomPal script Integration to test it.
If the connection was successful then website will open in the pop up window and close automatically.
We have provided the step-by-step Instructions below with a Gif image so that you can understand how you can connect your website with DotcomPal.
If still you face an issue, then you can invite a devloper also by click on this Invite a developer to help with installation button.
Now, next setting is Home Page Settings, with the help of this setting you can set your DotcomPal business home page URL or Home page redirection URL.
It helps you to set a default URL so that your customer’s journey can be made easy and smooth. As soon as you set the redirection, your customers will be redirected to the specific video, website page or landing page that you’ve specified.
Just choose the respective option LIKE Video, Landing Page, Website Page or My Drive for which you want to setup the home page from dropdown.
And then select its respective Video type, Landing Page type, Website Page type and File to set it as your Home page and then click on Save.
Now, the next setting is Memberships.
In Membership settings you can manage all the settings related to membership level here. We have created separate training video for this settings. I request you to kindly watch that video to set up your membership level.
Now, On a click of SEO, you will get a page to set the Channel for your whole business. Here you can configure some basic meta tags Channel settings for your DotcomPal. Once you select the meta title here, it will be applied for your particular DotcomPal business.
You can also enable/disable “Robot meta No index” and “Robot Meta No follow” by using the toggle button given below the drop-down menu of Meta Title.
Click “Save” to save the changes & click “reset” to reset the changes in values.
Then On click of Analytics option of Channel, you will get the page of Business Analytics in which you can enter a different type of third-party Analytics code which help you to analyse your business on other third-party platforms.
Here you can enter the code for Google Analytics, GOOGLE Tag Manager (Script 1), GOOGLE Tag Manager (Script 2), Third Party Analytics Tracking Code (Header), Third Party Analytics Tracking Code (Body) and Facebook remarketing pixels. You can track your Dotcompal business activities using these analytical platforms. Once done, click on Save.
On click of Webmaster option of Channel, you will get the page of Webmaster settings where you can configure webmaster settings by providing the verification codes from Google, Bing, Pinterest and Yahoo to get verified your site by these sites.
Now on click of BRANDING, you just need to On or off the branding pf DotcomPal as per your wish either you want your customers to show it or not.
Then On click of Cookie Consent, you can select colour, position, content, button and the last option is where you want to apply it on whole business or on a particular page and then click on Save.
And last on click of BANNERS option of Channel, you will get redirect to BANNER SETTINGS page where you can add image and video of your choice in the banner which will appear at the top as a BANNER of business. You can set the banner from here for both your Home and About business/author Page.
Congratulation my friend, you have made it. Now you can enjoy your DotcomPal without any hassle.
Let’s move to the next tab - Mail Settings
Under Mail Settings, you will see four different settings tabs, namely SMTP Setting, From & Reply Email Setting, Bounce Setting and Mail Footer Setting.

DotcomPal is also flexible to third party integration. It gives you the power of using third party tools with DotcomPal and makes the better out of it.
Next tab is of Integration, where you can integrate your third-party tool with DotcomPal. I have explained Integration in a separate video make sure you watch it to understand it better.
Let’s move to Contact Management.
Under Contact Management you will see three different options, namely Custom Fields, Lead Score Rules, Lead Score Rules Settings.
First click on Custom fields.
In Custom Fields, you can create and manage your all custom fields. As you know, DotcomPal provides you with a single account system which helps you save each & every detailed information about your business personas. In this tab, you can create new custom fields and edit or delete existing fields. You can organize custom fields and use the search button to find a specific field. Custom fields are used while adding a contact.
To create a new custom field, click “New Custom Field”.
A pop-up box will appear in which you will have to enter your custom field name & select the type of data this field will accept like text, number or date. Click the button “Create” to save the custom field just created by you.
Second is Lead Score Rules here you can create and manage your score rules. It helps you to create new score rules and edit or delete existing ones. You can organize score rules and use search button to find any. Score rules can be added to define lead score values in the application.
Then last option under Contact Management is Lead Score Rules Settings. Here it provides you two options Add/Remove lead score for a user if the same user is already acquired and do not Add/Remove lead score for a user if the same user is already acquired.

Last setting section under Business Settings is API.
Under API, your will a API key of DotcomPal through which you can integrate DotcomPal with other platforms.
To get the API you just need to click on this Get DotcomPal API button and you will see the API key.
This DotcomPal API fetches files from MyDrive and adds into third party platform. You can use this API to fetch your data from DotcomPal account’s businesses.
